Andrey is based out of the West Bank in Occupied Palestine. He shares real-time stories and updates from the region. He has been often seen in Palestinian villages recording Israeli settlers attempting to displace the Palestinians from their homes and farmland. His presence and his recording used to be enough to chase them off, but it’s not as effective these days since the settlers have gained increased support from their military.
From their Substack: “I’m Becca, and I educate on the Israeli occupation and do strategy work to advocate for its end. I am Israeli-American living in Israel and working with Israelis, global Jewish communities and the international community to educate on how the system of occupation functions. In a moment in which biased and inaccurate information is easily spread online and in person, my goal is to bring clear, well-sourced information, as well as providing a space for the emotional barriers some of us Jewish Israelis and internationals face so that we can work towards a just and equal future for Palestinians and Israelis.”
Bisan is a Palestinian journalist who has been reporting from Gaza almost daily since October, 2023. She starts every video telling us her name and immediately comforting us with, “I’m still alive.” This routine introduction was the premise for a documentary produced by Anna Kook, Sara Salman and chronicles the various videos that Bisan shared with the world since 2023. The documentary aptly titled, “It’s Bisan from Gaza and I’m Still Alive” received a Peabody Award for, “showing bravery and persistence in the midst of imminent danger, and for carrying a heavy journalistic burden as the entire world looks on.”
Ido is an Israeli journalist who isn’t afraid of getting into confrontations with IDF soldiers or illegal settlers. He is a great journalist to follow for raw footage of life in Occupied Palestine.
Mariam is an independent journalist who despite the difficulties and hurdles of trying to report on the ground of an active combat zone, continues to fight editors to maintain journalistic integrity. Mariam took a few months off to help novice journalists and writers from Palestine publish with news agencies.
Yousef is a freelance Palestinian journalist who has reported from Gaza since 2007. In 2025 he became a documentary filmmaker with the release of the documentary, The Phoenix of Gaza. He has a master’s degree in international relations from Brunel University London, and currently based in London.
